Angela Norton is a certified diabetes educator, and is a diabetes case manager for hospitalized patients at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, which has a diabetic patient census of over 40 percent. Ms. Norton was born and raised in England and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes over 30 years ago. She lives with the day to day trials of diabetes self management, and feels most fulfilled when helping her patients realize that they can take control of their diabetes. |
