Ralph A. DeFronzo, MD Professor of Medicine, Director of Diabetes Research Unit, University of Texas Health Sciences Campus, San Antonio

Dr. DeFronzo is the Co-Director of the Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders (DMD) Track, at the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in San Antonio, TX and the current Deputy Director of the Texas Diabetes Institute in the same city. He is a staff physician at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System - Audie L. Murphy Division. He is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences Campus in San Antonio, the division Chief in Diabetes, and the Director of the Diabetes Research Unit at the same institution.
