Dr. Robert Smith is Professor and Director of Endocrinology at Brown University and Founding Director of the Hallett Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology at Rhode Island Hospital. He received his M.D. from Harvard and previously served as the Director of Metabolism at Joslin Diabetes Center. He is highly involved in patient care, research and teaching.
