For those of you in the San Diego area, the 5th annual memorial celebration in remembrance of Cyndee “Aleia” Fena will be held at the Casablanca Restaurant in Carlsbad on January 18th from 7-10 p.m.

Fena was an integral part of the San Diego diabetes community, serving as an advocate, researcher and type 1 diabetic herself.

Come out and celebrate her life, while making a positive impact on diabetes education! All proceeds from the night will go to Taking Control of Your Diabetes.
