The much-anticipated fourth season of TCOYD-TV is now filming! Tune in on UCSD-TV (UCTV for those of you outside of San Diego) for this newly re-vamped, cutting-edge series that is designed to keep you informed about the latest diabetes news, treatments and topics.
The series premieres on June 24th and features discussions regarding diabetes prevention with Dr. Edelman hosting La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology’s Dr. Matthias von Herrath and UC San Diego’s Dr. Robert Henry. They will address the needs of the 26.2 million Americans living with diabetes and what we can do to slow this growing epidemic. Not only does the show have a new look, it also boasts new episode segments featuring dietitian Janice Baker and exercise physiologist Larry Verity, both renowned San Diego professionals. In addition, TCOYD-TV will offer a new perspective on diabetes through the eyes of children living with the disease. The short segments will be called, “Kids With Diabetes Say the Sweetest Things,” featuring San Diego youth living with diabetes, speaking with Dr. E about their treatments, do’s and don’ts as well as their unscripted commentary that is sure to make you smile.
