Here is what the participants from San Diego had to say about this year's TCOYD Conference and Health Fair.

So much encouragement, practical suggestions, resources and connections with the diabetes community. The battle of diabetes is a lonely battle and it was great to be in a large community with so much support! Today inspired me.

I've received more info and support during this one day than I have in the past 12 years since beginning my journey with diabetes.

Where can you get this kind of networking? Nowhere other than TCOYD.

TCOYD inspires me to be the best healthy person I can be.

So much new information, truly caring and passionate speakers, staff and exhibitors.

Great chance to mingle with professionals.

Lovely and inviting setting, well prepared.

Enjoyed Dr. Edelman! He knows what we are going through day by day. He can relate vs others that say you need to do this & that in an unrealistic way.

This is a great venue for all to learn and network.

Extremely varied and comprehensive. An exceptional conference.

Great to meet face to face with reps of all my devices.

Workshop on sexual health was crucial and informative. So much was explained to me in that one hour.

I learned so many things I didn't know. I am motivated to take better care of myself.

Great speakers, large array of topics.

Last year I weighed 183 pounds, this year I came back weighing only 143 pounds. I hope to make more real changes from this years info.

More information, education and options in this one day than what I've heard and been told since being diagnosed back in 1994.

Gives me a fresh perspective and makes me more enthusiastic.

Ms. Whittington's caring suggestions and thorough resource support introduced me to this well-planned, diverse and thorough event. She is concise and detailed.

The Zumba dancing was great.

I look forward to this event every year. It has become an important piece of my care. I've made friends here and look forward to the social part of the day.

Great exhibits with updated and current info.

This conference provided info on all my concerns: insulin use, neuropathy, emotional health, stress, diet, exercise, new technologies and health care reform.

Enforced the fact that exercise is vital to controlling diabetes and that physical activity can be really fun to do.

Loved Kim Lyons, she is so real and so sweet. She answered all of my questions.

I learned so much in Dr. King's kidney workshop. It was excellent!

My physical activity regime was stalled. Thanks Chris for re-sparking my interest.

Fantastic vendors that were very informative and friendly.

Good food and great company.

Diabetes gets exhausting and TCOYD gives me my energy back.

Made me aware of how many different diabetes related organizations are out there to help me.

The positive comments go on and on. Thank you all for making such a big difference in so many peoples lives.
