Roz Hodgins Director, External Affairs

In November 2009 Roz joined the TCOYD team as Director, External Affairs. As Director of External Affairs, Roz is responsible for all philanthropic outreach and donor relations. She has the privilege of interacting with the people who faithfully support TCOYD, including those who have joined the newly formed Director's Council. She also oversees donor related events, annual giving and the Difference Generation Society, TCOYD's planned giving group. Roz is also involved with cultivating community relations with businesses and service organizations in the community.

Roz has played a role in the world of philanthropy since 1991 when she was Director of Development at Santa Fe Christian Schools and then at The Whittier Institute forDiabetes from 1996-2002. Before joining TCOYD, she was Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations at The Scripps Research Institute for seven years.

When Roz is offsite from TCOYD, she is spending time with her husband, Mike, and their two rescue dogs, Bella and Buster. She loves cooking for her family and friends, gardening, as well as serving as a small group leader in her church's women's ministry. She enjoys coming along side individuals to assess their personal philanthropic decisions to give back and realize their dreams.
