  1. I couldn’t watch live because I didn’t have the time. I can’t watch now because I don’t have time.

Is it possible to create a script of questions/topics followed by your answers? Doing so will allow me (and others?) to quickly review and choose which topics/questions are of interest.

Thanks 🙏 in advance for your decision. No reply or explanation is needed if you can’t. If you can, then I’ll see it in a future updated email.

    Sincerely,
    Michael O’Meara

    • Sounds good; that way it’s in print x and you can refer back to it if you’ve printed it.

    • Hi Michael,
Thanks so much for your suggestion. We don’t have a written transcript, but we did add a list of the featured questions with corresponding timecode. Hope that helps!

      LIVE Q&A

  2. What are the cons with Baqsimi and Gvoke?

    • Hi Pam,
Some people feel a strong pressure in their nostril when they take Baqsimi, almost like an air bag going off. Gvoke is very easy. Any glucagon can cause a little nausea, but the alternative could be way worse…dying from a hypo.

  3. Im type 2, but enjoyed this. I know not to go crazy when a1c don’t match my cam. I know to take insulin 20min before meal n not before eating. I know my insulin start up 20 to 30min before it’s injected n my insulin last about 3 to 4hrs after injection. I will keep a lil juice by bed n not get up n go crazy n accuse my husband of eating everything. The exercise I’m understanding that more. Thank you!

  4. Thank you so much I am a type 2. Also a CDCES and BC-ADM. I provide care in a rural area and try to keep my education real. Your approach to diabetes care is so validating to how I provide education and care for those living with diabetes. Thank you for keeping it so real and practical.

    • Thanks for your commment, Sharon, and thank you for taking care of folks in rural areas where it can be so hard to get good diabetes education.
