Hopefully we’re getting close (or at least closer) to loosening up the stay-at-home orders, but in the meantime Steve and Jeremy wanted to share a few things they’re going to miss and a few things they can’t WAIT to ditch once quarantine is officially over. Feel free to add yours in the comments!
For those who prefer to read and skip to the good stuff, here’s the CliffsNotes version!
What Jeremy Can’t Wait to Give Up:
- Zoom meetings
- Drinking alone
- Exercising at home
- Sneezing in public without feeling self-conscious
- Wearing face masks and smelling your breath all day
- Not being able to shake hands or hug people
What Steve Will Keep Doing:
- Brushing his teeth for two minutes at a time
- Eating a ton of bacon
- Reading food labels on junk food
- Wearing pajama bottoms to work
- Making friends with telemarketers
- Living by a calendar where all the days are the same
Great outlook on lifeL
I enjoyed the humor.
Thanks Carol! 🙂
You want to wear pajama bottoms at work? They’re called “scrubs”! As for wanting to give up wearing a face mask? You’re a doctor! Surgeons wear them all the time.
You guys know how to make a positive out of a negative & be funny. Thanks!
Thanks Maureen! 🙂
Agree – can’t wait to ditch the masks & see people’s smiles. Greeting friends with a hug is missed too.
Cough shaming is the pits!
As the spouse of a Zoomer, I’ll be glad when I don’t have to crawl on all fours to get downstairs during a Zoom session just to stay out of camera range 🤪
PJs . . .you know it’s getting bad when you finally get out of your PJs for the day around 7pm only to get into your night PJs. You gotta shower sometime don’t you? 😆
Haha! Perhaps, but think of all the money you’re saving on your water bill! And great mental image of crawling around on all fours to avoid the zoom camera. Think we’ve all done that in one way or another by now!
I loved this!!😂😂😂
Oh my goodness, you made my day!!!
Thanks Terri! Stay well! 🙂
You guys are great!! I especially liked that there was NO REACTION from Jeremy when Steve said he “was eating a Twinkie the other day”. You guys are REAL PEOPLE. And yes, even diabetics eat twinkles. I like ring dings, too. Thank you for being real and informative.
Let’s hope there won’t be a Ring Ding shortage anytime soon!
Sweet touch of humor! Greatly appreciated…thanks!
Thanks Judy – stay well!
Now this is what I am talking about! You guys are great together and I didn’t fall asleep!!!
Haha! 🙂
Just got released from the hospital after Covid…was feeling drab…I must say I really needed this laugh!
Oh my gosh Loretta we’re so glad you are home! Hope you are feeling better and stronger every day!
