Our initial experience with TCOYD was in Sacramento in 2009. Having lived with T1D since age 12, Steve learned more about how to manage his disease in one weekend than he’d learned in 48 years. We believe that everyone living with diabetes should have access to this education and are pleased to contribute money each year in hopes that all who want to learn how to manage their disease have the opportunity to do so.

We support TCOYD® because its emphasis is on educating those of us who have diabetes. The information we learn through TCOYD® allows us to be aware of the latest diabetes treatments and developments, some of which aren’t widely known yet. Barbara is a type 1 and David is a type 2.

The mission of the Step Family Foundation is health. We focus our philanthropy on supporting significant efforts which bring better care to patients. TCOYD® has for decades provided the best source of real diabetes education to millions. Your recent efforts to expand into social media platforms have been both entertaining and educational, but also valuable. We are so pleased to be able to be part of your future.
