About: Lauren Wisk, PhD
Profile:
Lauren Wisk is an Assistant Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Her research focuses on understanding how to increase engagement with health care and improve well-being for adolescents and young adults with chronic conditions, like Type 1 Diabetes. Dr. Wisk received her BS from UCLA and PhD from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and she completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital.
