Rita is a fledgling Endocrinology Fellow training at UC San Diego. She was the Editor-in-Chief of her medical school newspaper and is excited to reinvigorate her writing career here at Taking Control of Your Diabetes®. As expected, some of her favorite pastimes include reading (Charles Dickens is her favorite author) and writing in the capacity of journal entries, scientific articles, newsworthy reports, Christmas cards, and positive yelp reviews - however, she is much less practiced at the tweets and the grams. She is excited to learn as much as she can about diabetes and medical writing!
