Paul Reid, Founder of Type One Outdoors, has summited over 200 peaks in an around California, and he leads group hikes, trail runs and other outdoor adventures for people with type 1 and their family and friends. He has an an ongoing meetup in the greater LA area called Local Treks with the emphasis on the type 1 adventurer, but it’s also a chance to educate supporters, caregivers, and T1D friends and family while out on the trail.
