What Is Diabetes Forum?

Diabetes Forum is an annual event cohosted by Taking Control of Your Diabetes® and The diaTribe Foundation that brings together diabetes experts from around the world to share insights on essential points and breakthrough data presented at the American Diabetes Association’s Scientific Sessions.

Diabetes Forum is held on the last night of the ADA convention, and is aimed at connecting, informing, and engaging diabetes professionals from around the world.

Founded in 2007 by Dr. Steve Edelman of Taking Control of Your Diabetes and Kelly Close of Close Concerns, Diabetes Forum was created to bring together the scientific community at the end of the biggest diabetes meeting of the year to discuss the most important advances.

According to Dr. Edelman, “Not only will it be a really fun event where you can eat, drink, be merry, and network with colleagues you only see once a year, but you’ll get a comprehensive overview of the most significant developments presented at the ADA conference, along with key updates from the broader diabetes community.”
