About: Faith Cook, Psy.D

Profile:
Faith C. Cook, Psy.D., has been a Licensed Psychologist for 12 years. She has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, correctional, skilled nursing, and has been in private practice for two years with Sylva Clinical Psychology. Her private practice work focuses on treatment for people with diabetes and chronic illness. She is registered with the American Diabetes Association as a Diabetes-Specific Mental Health Provider. She has trained correctional, mental health, and health care workers throughout her career. She has been a pre-doctoral Psychology Internship supervisor and has provided clinical supervision to numerous Master’s Level Psychologists. She also volunteers for JDRF, serving in the capacity of a speaker at JDRF conferences regarding the mental health component of diabetes care. Faith also lives with Type 1 Diabetes and other autoimmune disorders.
