A new insulin pump designed for people with type 2 diabetes will be hitting the streets soon, and other pumps are receiving FDA approval for use in type 2 as well. Pumps can offer a more discreet insulin administration option than daily injections, and there are other important features of these newer insulin pumps that can help streamline diabetes management.

Not sure when, but I recall Medicare did not approve pumps for T2s until a few years ago.
I use Medtronics 770g with G4 sensor and Smart Guard, which adjusts basal throughout the day. Then I program a bolus with meals.
