Dr. P’s Research Team Receives $2M Grant to Study Novel Insulin in T1D

Dr. Pettus and his research team at UCSD were recently awarded a $2M grant to study liver-targeted insulin in type 1 diabetes. Directing insulin to the liver may help restore normal liver physiology for people with type 1, leading to better glucose control and overall health.
